Residential Curbside Pick-Up
For ease and convenience
Set your bucket in front of your house every Tuesday and we'll handle the rest! We take the content of your bucket and leave you with a new compostable liner to help keep your bucket clean and prevent odors. Our service area for the curbside program includes Roanoke City, Salem, and Cave Spring. Join a community of over 100 local residents!
Curbside Program: $30/month
Biweekly Curbside Program: $20/month
Seasonal Curbside Program: $25/month
*$33 start-up fee, payment for the first month of service, and agreeing to our Residential Service Contract are all needed to begin services. Once registration is complete, we'll deliver your bucket and compostable liner.
Seasonal Curbside includes Bi-Weekly pickup for colder months (November, December, January, February, March, and April), Weekly for warmer months (May, June, July, August, September, and October)
If you wish to see a curbside option in your neighborhood, organize a cluster of five households that want to join our curbside food waste collection program and contact us when your group is ready.
Residential Drop-Off
Compost on your own time
Empty your bucket at one of our eight drop-off stations and take a new liner with you. Simple as that! Our Drop-Off Stations are specifically designed to prevent pest or odor problems. The stations are kept locked and accessible only to members to deposit their compost. We will send you a code to the shed upon completion of registration.
Drop-Off Program: $12/month
*$33 start-up fee, payment for the first month of service ($12), and agreeing to our Residential Service Contract are all needed to begin services. Once registration is complete, we'll deliver your bucket and compostable liner.

If you would like to partner on a new Drop-Off location, please contact us. We are currently seeking new locations in Vinton and Salem.
If you are unsure about whether you can compost something, please don't include it. Instead, contact us first and we will let you know whether it is compostable at our facility.
Start Composting Services Today!
We will contact you within 72 hours after you pay for the first month's service and start-up fee. We typically deliver all buckets when doing our curbside pick-up route on Tuesdays.
Any customer in our program is entitled to up to 2 buckets of free finished compost from us, or $10 off on a cubic yard of compost (valued at $50 total).
